Pickleball in Hillsboro, Oregon
Hillsboro has six dedicated lighted courts at Hidden Creek Park East, a smaller dedicated court at Shute Park, and ten additional lined park courts for players with portable nets. Free Monday evening facilitated play includes skill divisions and beginner help through September.

Hidden Creek Park East
Address: 300 NE 53rd Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124
Six free dedicated outdoor courts have permanent lines, nets, lights, restrooms, and water. Weekday evenings use a paddle queue with recreational play on Courts 1, 3, and 5 and competitive play on Courts 2, 4, and 6. The rotation is two games on, then off, regardless of the second result.
Hidden Creek Community Center
Address: 5100 NE Hidden Creek Drive, Hillsboro, OR 97124
The outdoor sport-court area converts into three lined pickleball courts. City activities and private rentals have priority, followed by community open use. Rentals run June through October and include basic three-court setup.
Shute Park Campus
Address: 750 SE 8th Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97123
One dedicated court is free and first come, first served. City guidelines limit play to one hour when others are waiting.
Bring-Your-Own-Net Courts
Magnolia Park, 1810 NE 102nd Avenue, has two lined courts. Reedville Creek Park, 7500 SE Frances Street, and Rood Bridge Park, 4000 SE Rood Bridge Road, each have four. These ten multi-use courts require players to bring a portable net and remove all equipment afterward.
Pickleball Lessons in Hillsboro
Free facilitated play at Hidden Creek Park East runs Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. June through September, with staff helping beginners learn scoring, doubles positioning, and basic play. Hidden Creek Community Center also offers registered Introduction to Pickleball and level-based lessons, including a Just the Basics workshop on November 18, 2026. Private instructors are available through the Coaches section.
Pickleball Leagues and Events in Hillsboro
Hillsboro Parks and Recreation runs seasonal doubles leagues at Hidden Creek, including open leagues and level-based divisions. Summer Tuesday facilitated play runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. June through August, while the Monday program continues through September.
Visiting Pickleball Players
Hidden Creek Park East is the clear first stop because it has permanent nets, lights, skill-designated courts, and an established paddle rotation.
